Chilli Chicken | Chilli Chicken Recipe | Restaurant Style Chilli Chicken Recipe | Chilli Chicken Recipe Chinese Style | Chilli Chicken Recipe Indo Chinese Style | How to make Chilli Chicken | Chilli Chicken Dry Recipe Ingredients for Chilli Chicken Recipe: For marination: - Boneless chicken (preferably thigh) cut into 1 inch cubes- 300 gms - Salt- 1/2 tsp - Crushed Pepper powder- 1/2 tsp - Cornflour- 2 tbsp - Maida or All purpose flour- 1 tbsp - Soy sauce- 1 tsp - Ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp - Egg - 1 - Onion petals- 1 small onion - Green capsicum cubed- 1 medium - Garlic, chopped- 4-5 cloves - Green chillies, thin slices- 2 nos - Spring onion, white portion chopped- 2 - Spring onions, green tops- chopped for garnishing - Red Chilli sauce- 2 tbsp - Tomato sauce- 2 tbsp - Soy sauce- 1 tbsp - Vinegar- 1 tsp - Cornflour slurry- 1 tbsp cornflour mixed in 2 tbsp of water - Oil- 2 tbsp - Salt for seasoning Preparation: - Wash and cut the boneless chicken into pieces. - Marinate with the items indicated. Mix well and set aside for 30 mins. - Chop the garlic and spring onions and slice the chillies. - Make petals of one small onion & cubes of one green capsicum - Deep fry the chicken pieces in a kadhai till golden in colour. Remove and set aside Process: - Take a small wok or kadhai & heat 2 tbsp oil. - Add the chopped garlic, stir for a few seconds and add the white chopped spring onions. - Stir it once & add the sliced green chillies. Mix everything well and then add the onion and capsicum petals. Sauté on medium heat for around 2 mins till they are still crisp. - Now add all the sauces as mix well. Stir fry for 1 min. - Add the fried chicken pieces and mix well so that the pieces are coated with the sauce. - Add the cornflour slurry and mix well again. Add salt to taste, black peppercorns, white pepper powder, red chili sauce, ginger garlic paste. Add egg and mix everything well. Rest it for 10 minutes. For Second Marination In the same bowl, add cornstarch, refined flour, baking soda, egg, salt to taste, and oil. Mix everything well and keep it aside for further use. For Frying Heat oil in a kadai on medium flame. Now, fry the marinated chicken on a slow to medium flame till golden in color and cook well from inside. Remove in an absorbent paper and keep it aside for further use. For Sauce Mixture In a bowl, add dark soy sauce, tomato ketchup, red chili sauce, green chili sauce, and vinegar. Add water, sugar, black pepper powder and mix it well. Keep it aside for further use. For Tempering In a wok or kadai, add oil once it gets hot, add dry red chillies and let it splutter well. Add ginger, garlic, green chili, red chili and saute it well. Add onion and saute well. Add prepared sauce mixture, salt to taste and mix well. Add cornstarch slurry and mix well, add red bell pepper, green bell pepper mix well. Add fried chicken strips and toss it well. Add spring onion and toss well. Bring 1 Cup of water to a boil. Add the red chillies and cook for 5 minutes. 2. Add the cooked red chillies to the mixer grinder and grind it into a smooth paste. 3. In a pan, heat 2 tsp of oil. Add the ground chilli paste. Cook this until the oil separates from the chilli paste. 4. In a mixing bowl, add cornflour, maida, salt, pepper and water. Mix to form a batter to deep-fry the chicken pieces. 5. Add chicken pieces to the batter. 6. Heat oil in a deep frying pan and deep-fry the chicken pieces for around 3-4 mins or until it is cooked. Keep Aside. 7. In another pan, to make Chilli sauce, heat oil, add the chopped garlic and ginger. Saute this until the garlic turns golden brown. Add the chopped green chilli. 8. Add the cubed onions and cubed capsicum and continue to saute for a minute. 9. Add the chilli paste, chilli sauce, tomato sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, salt and pepper. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes. 10. Mix 2 tsp of cornflour in ¼ cup of water to form a slurry. 11. Add the cornflour slurry to the pan. 12. Mix well, once the sauce is in the desired consistency, add the batter-fried chicken cubes and toss for a minute. 13. Add the chopped spring onions and remove from heat. 14. Full written recipe for Restaurant style chicken chilli Prep time:15-20 minutes Cooking times: 15-20 minutes Serves: 4-5 people Ingredients: For frying chicken: • Boneless Chicken 500 gm (breast) • Salt & black pepper to taste • Vinegar 1 tsp • Light soy sauce 1 tsp • Egg white of 1 egg • Cornstarch 3 tbsp • Oil for frying For green chilli paste: • Spicy Green chillies 8-10 nos. • Water 50 ml For sauce: • Oil 2 tbsp • Onions 1/4th cup (chopped) • Garlic 1/4th cup (chopped) • Ginger 1 inch (chopped) • Spicy Green chillies 12-15 nos. (slit) • Coriander stems 1 tbsp (chopped) • Chicken stock/hot water 200 ml + 100 ml • Spicy Green chilli paste 2-3 tbsp • Light soy sauce 2 tbsp • Dark soy sauce 2 tsp (for colour) • Vinegar 1 tsp • Sugar a pinch • Salt & white pepper powder a pinch • Fried chicken • Veggies: 1. Capsicum 1 medium size (julienned) 2. Onions 1 medium size (petals) 3. Spring onion bulbs & greens 2 tbsp 4. Fresh coriander roughly chopped 1 tbsp • Cornstarch 1 tbsp + water 2 tbsp (for slurry) • Spring onion greens & bulbs (for garnish) • Fresh coriander leaves (for garnish) Method: • For frying chicken, clean the boneless chicken well, and further cut into strips or cubes as per your preference, I’m choosing to cut in 1 cm strips. • Now, add salt & black pepper to taste, vinegar, light soy sauce, egg white & cornstarch, mix well & coat the chicken with the marinade. Make sure the coating should not be very thick. After mixing you’ll feel the chicken hasn’t coated nicely but relax the chicken will fry perfectly. • Set oil in wok for frying, fry the marinated & coated chicken in hot oil on medium heat, until the chicken is cooked, tender & slightly golden in colour. Remove it over an absorbent paper and keep aside to be used later. Make sure not to over fry them like a chicken pakoda. • For green chilli paste, add the green chillies in a grinding jar, add water & blend into a fine paste, keep aside to be used later. • For making the chilli sauce, set a wok on high heat, add oil and let it heat nicely, further add onions, garlic, ginger, green chillies & coriander stems, stir & cook for 1-2 minutes or until the garlic is slightly cooked. • Now add the chicken stock and cook for a minute on high flame. • Further add green chilli paste, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, vinegar 1 tsp, a pinch of sugar & salt & white pepper powder to taste, stir on high flame for a minute. You can adjust the quantity of green chilli paste as per your preference. • Now add the fried chicken & the veggies, stir briefly & cook on high flame for half a minute. • Further add additional 100 ml of chicken stock, in a separate bowl add cornflour & water, mix well to make a slurry, add the slurry & stir well & cook for a minute or until the sauce thickens and coat the chicken. • Taste the sauce and adjust the salt as per taste. Finish by adding some freshly chopped spring onion bulbs & greens & some fresh coriander. • Restaurant style chilli chicken is ready, serve hot. Restaurant Style Chilli Chicken Gravy | Chilli Chicken | Chilli Chicken Recipe | Chilli Chicken Recipe Indo Chinese Style | How to make Chilli Chicken | Chilli Chicken by Spice Eats Ingredients for Chilli Chicken Gravy: Boneless Chicken - 300 gms (Thigh portion, cut into bite sized pieces) For Marination: - Salt- 1/2 tsp - Pepper Powder- 1/2 tsp - Dark Soy Sauce- 1/2 tsp - Ginger Garlic Paste- 3/4 tsp - Corn Flour- 2 tbsp - All Purpose Flour (Maida)- 1 tbsp - Egg, small- 1 Sauce: - Red Chilli Sauce- 2 tbsp - Tomato Sauce- 2.5 tbsp - Dark Soy Sauce- 1 tbsp - Vinegar- 1 tsp Other Ingredients: - Garlic, chopped- 1.5 tsp (5-6 cloves) - Ginger, chopped- 1.5 tsp - Green Chillies, thin sliced- 2-3 - Onion, thick sliced- 1 small (60 gms) - Green Capsicum (Bell Pepper), thick sliced- 1 small (60 gms) - Spring Onion Greens - 3 tbsp - Corn Slurry- 1.25 tbsp cornflour mixed in 1 cup (225 ml) of water - Refined Oil- 1.5 tbsp + oil for deep frying Preparation: - Wash, pat dry and cut the boneless chicken thighs into 1 inch bite sized pieces. - Marinate with the items indicated. Mix well to coat the chicken. Set aside for 30 mins. - Chop the garlic, ginger and spring onion greens and slice the green chillies. - Make thick slices of onion and capsicum (green bell pepper). - To prepare the Corn slurry, add 1 cup of water to 1.25 tbsps of corn starch. Mix well and set aside. Process: - Heat oil in a pan or skillet for deep frying. Drop the battered chicken pieces side by side in hot oil to not overcrowd the pan. - Fry these in hot oil on medium heat till light brown. This should take around 4-5 mins. Repeat for the next batch. - Now heat oil and add the chopped garlic. Give a stir and add the chopped ginger. Fry on high heat for 15 secs and then add the sliced green chillies. Fry on high heat for another 30 secs. Now add the thick sliced onions, mix and fry for 30 secs. - Add the sliced capsicum/peppers, mix and continue to fry for 1 min. - Add all the sauces, mix and stir fry 1 min on high heat. - Add the fried chicken pieces, give a stir and continue to stir fry on high heat for 1 min and then add the corn slurry. - Give a mix and continue to cook for 1-2 minutes till the sauce thickens and forms a thick gravy. - Garnish with spring onion greens and mix for 30 secs. - Serve with noodles or fried rice. #chillichickengravy #chillichickenrecipe #chillichicken #indochinesechillichicken #restaurantstylechillichicken #spiceeatschicken #spiceeats #spiceeatsrecipes

Soy sauce - 2 TSP Corn flour - 3 TBSP Maida - 1 TBSP Pound ginger garlic - 1 TBSP Oil for deep frying Oil - 1 TBSP Finely chopped ginger and garlic Chopped green chillies - 3 NOS. Chopped onion - 1 NO. Chopped capsicum - 1 NO. Written recipe for Chicken chilli Prep time: 15 mins Cooking time: 25 mins Serves: 6 For frying chicken Ingredients: • Chicken 500 gm (boneless) • Salt & pepper to taste • Vinegar 1 tsp • Soy sauce 1 tsp • Egg white 1 no. • Cornstarch 3 tbsp • Oil for shallow frying Method: • Slice the chicken breast in two equal halves and Further cut the chicken slices into thin strips (please refer video to get clear picture). • Transfer the chicken strips in a mixing bowl and further add, salt & pepper to taste, vinegar, soy sauce, egg white and cornstarch, mix and coat the chicken well. • Heat oil in a pan for frying and shallow fry the coated chicken strips on both the sides only till the chicken softens or are light golden in color, do not overcook them. Remove it on an absorbent paper and keep aside. For making chicken chilli Ingredients: • Oil 2 tbsp • Garlic 15 cloves (chopped) • Ginger 1 inch (julienned) • Green chillies 6-7 nos. (slit) • Onions 2 medium size (diced) • Red bell peppers 1 medium size (diced) • Capsicum 1 medium size (diced) • Sugar 1 tsp • Spring onion bulbs 1/4th cup (chopped) • Soy sauce 3 tbsp • Red chilli sauce 1 tbsp • Salt & pepper to taste • Water 100 ml • Cornstarch 1 tbsp + water 2 tbsp • Freshly Fried chicken • Vinegar 1 tsp • Spring onion greens 2 tbsp (chopped) Methods: • Set another pan on high heat, add oil, garlic, ginger and green chillies, sauté it for a minute. • Add onions, red bell peppers, capsicum and sugar, mix well and sauté it for a minute. • Add spring onions and continue to sauté on high flame. • Add soy sauce, red chilli sauce, salt & pepper to taste and water, mix well & cook for a minute. • Add water and cornstarch mixture and cook until the sauce thickens. Add the fried chicken strips and toss well with the sauce. • Add vinegar and freshly chopped spring onion greens, mix well and cook for last 1 minute. • Your chicken chilli is ready to be served, serve hot. In this video we will see how to make Chilli Chicken Recipe in Tamil. Chilli chicken is a popular item on many restaurant menu next only to chicken 65. What makes the chilli chicken so popular us its versatility because it can be served as chilli chicken dry to be enjoyed as an appetizer. It can be made into a semi dry version and enjoyed with rice/ biryani and finally chilli chicken gravy is a fantastic combination for chapati and naan. Chili Chicken is a very juicy and tasty restaurant style chicken recipe made using Chicken which is fried and then cooked in a special sauce. LETS BEGIN 1.Chicken - 1/2 kilo cut into medium sized pieces, Now let us marinate it, for this we need Ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoon Black pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon Soya sauce - 1 tablespoon Egg white - 1 Corn flour - 3 tablespoon All purpose flour - 1 tablespoon Salt - 3/4 teaspoon Kashmiri red chili powder - 1 teaspoon Lemon juice - 1/2 teaspoon Cooking soda/Baking powder - 1/4 teaspoon Mix them well and marinate for thirty minutes 2.Now deep fry the marinated pieces 3.In a pan heat oil - 2 tablespoon 4.To make cornflour slurry we need Corn flour - 3 tablespoon To it add water - 200ml Mix them and make a slurry, keep it aside 5.To the hot oil add Chopped ginger - 2 teaspoon Chopped garlic - 2 teaspoon Chopped green chilies - 3 Saute them well Then add Soya sauce - 1 tablespoon Red chili sauce - 2 tablespoon Tomato sauce - 2 tablespoon Black pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon Saute well 6.Add sugar - 1/4 teaspoon Salt just little Vinegar - 1 teaspoon Mix them well 7.Add onion pieces - 20 big sized Capsicum pies cut into diamond shapes - 20 to 25 Saute them little 8.Now add the corn flour slurry, then add fried chicken pieces and mix well 9.Add spring onion greens - 2 tablespoon and mix well 10. Andhra Chilli Chicken Curry | Andhra Chilli Chicken Restaurant Style | Andhra Style Green Chilli Chicken | Andhra Chilli Chicken | Green Chilli Chicken Curry | Andhra Style Chicken Curry | Chicken Curry | Chicken Recipe Ingredients for Andhra Chilli Chicken Curry: (Tsp-Teaspoon; Tbsp-Tablespoon) - Chicken, curry cut with bones - 1 Kg Green Masala Paste: - Sautéed onions- small onion, thick slices (40 gms) - Sautéed Green chillies - 8 nos., halved - Coriander Leaves, chopped- 1 cup - Mint leaves- 1/2 cup - Curry Leaves- 10-12 nos. Tempering: - Cumin Seeds-1 tsp - Cinnamon- 2 pieces - Curry Leaves- 10-12 Spice Powders: - Turmeric Powder- 1/2 tsp - Red Chilli Powder- 1 tsp - Coriander Powder- 3 tsp - Garam Masala Powder- 1 tsp Other Ingredients: - Onions, chopped- 2 big ones (200 gms) - Green Chillies, slit- 3 - Ginger, crushed- 2 tbsp - Garlic, crushed- 2 tbsp - Tomato, sliced- 2 small (100 gms) - Salt- 2.5 tsp or to taste - Thick coconut milk- 1/2 cup (120 ml) - Refined Oil- 5-6 tbsp - Coriander leaves for garnish- 2-3 tbsp Preparation: - Peel and make thick slices of 1 small onion. Wash and cut the green chillies into halves. - To make the Green Masala paste, take a frying pan & heat 1/2 tbsp oil. Now add the thick onion slices and fry on medium heat for 2-3 mins till translucent. Now add the green chillies, give a mix and fry on medium heat for 30 secs. Remove to a plate and let it cool. - Now chop the coriander leaves and take out the mint and curry leaves. - Now add all the ingredients for the masala paste into a blender/grinder and coarse grind it. Give it a mix and then blend it into a paste after adding 2-3 tbsp water. Set aside. - Now, chop the onions, peel and crush the ginger & garlic and slice the tomatoes. - Also slit the green chillies, take out the curry leaves and chop the coriander leaves for garnishing. Process: - Heat oil in a pan and add the cumin seeds, cinnamon and curry leaves. Give a stir and then add the chopped onions & slit green chillies. Fry on medium heat for 8-9 mins till the colour changes. - Now add the crushed ginger and garlic and fry on medium heat for 2-3 mins. - Add the sliced tomatoes and 1 tsp salt & fry on medium heat for 2-3 tsp till the tomatoes are soft. Now add all the spice powders other than Garam masala powder and mix and fry in medium heat for 2-3 mins till the spices are cooked and oil separates. - Now add the chicken pieces and 1.5 tsp salt and mix and fry on high heat for 4-5 mins. Continue to cook on medium heat for another 8-10 mins till the chicken is browned. - Add the Green Masala paste, coconut milk and Garam masala powder. Give a mix, add 200 ml water and cook covered on low heat for 15 mins till the chicken is tender. - Now remove the lid, and add chopped coriander leaves. Add little water (if needed) for desired consistency of the gravy.
