Forced Landing смотреть последние обновления за сегодня на .
The forced approach is an emergency that we never want to be faced with, but it’s vitally important that we have the skill and proficiency to complete one. Fortune favors the prepared and, in this video, I look at flying the forced approach using the 360 method. The forced landing is a skill you want to practice regularly and I would strongly recommend getting a refresher with a skilled and competent flight instructor to assist you on occasion. Have your emergency procedures, cockpit briefs and vital air-speeds committed to memory. Ensure that your familiar with your aircraft flying characteristics and the various methods of flying an emergency landing. The aim is to safely land the airplane so keep your focus on the prize. Aviate, Navigate, communicate!

Emergency Rear Door Breaks Off Hitting RH Tail - 3:48 Coming in Hot 5:40 Aftermath - 7:55 AAIB Report- 🤍 Extra Footage: 🤍 Extract from AAIB Report: "The investigation found the safety clip for the internal emergency operating handle of the baggage door was not correctly installed, so instead of holding the handle closed it held it in a slightly open position. During the flight, it seems most likely that this handle moved sufficiently towards the open position to disengage the shoot bolts from the door frame allowing the door to open. Full Report; 🤍 Unedited GoPro footage from cockpit view from our second flight of the day, my wife and I returning from Charlton Park to our home base Fairoaks. 15 minutes into the flight the Baggage hatch latch opens and door breaks away from the piano hinge, it some how catches on the leading edge of the horizontal stabiliser. The loose metal door managed to wedge itself between the elevator fork and the main surface restricting free movement of flight controls. After the initial impact of the door hitting you can see the AC pitched itself into a negative attitude, we were only at 2100ft on the QNH & started to roll slightly to the right, after a second I regained partial control (accepted 300ftpm level decent, maximum endurance reduced to just less than 4 minutes) to then have a uncontrolled full deflection of the ailerons both right and left. With direct line of sight of the damage from the P1 seat and the old RAF grass strip at Membury visual I did not hesitate to declare a Mayday with Brize Radar and proceeded to line up for R13. After trimming out everything I dared on the downwind leg the yoke continued to buffer, turning base felt ok but turning final the AC just didn't want to behaviour and I had to fight the AC back onto the centre line, over the motorway & all the way to the ground. With the debris on the wing, it felt like it was trying to stall the tail, having heard other pilot stories I was more concerned after falling out the sky rather than running out of field, if we got there. POH states 96Kt with the door open, I can't imagine an improvised airbrake on the tail improved the performance, coming in hot, 100kts was my target over the threshold. Gear down, couple of hard bounces and roll out onto second field. Mooney's have control rods rather than cables connecting the flight controls and an articulating tail trim so although in the video the aircraft seems responsive it needed huge asymmetric inputs to hold level, the warping on the right side elevator surface, popped rivets, twisted linkages on stabiliser and sheered metal on the empennage just shows how much force was being applied on the flight controls. Wind from 090 - 7Kt No significant weather OAT - 27 ' Enjoy the video & Subscribe to watch the rebuild! All comments welcome, Steve
Watch the 1941 Hollywood classic movie, Forced Landing. On faraway Mosaque, an American pilot finds that he is in a desperate struggle with a military officer intent on sabotaging a local fort. Movie Name: Forced Landing Stars: Richard Arlen, Eva Gabor, J. Carrol Naish Director: Gordon Wiles
After departing on a routine flight from Williamsburg-Jamestown Airport (KJGG) on May 26th to Connecticut, Professional seaplane pilot, Antony Yen of "Straight and Level Seaplanes" was expecting a smooth flight. That was not to be, as within ten minutes after take off, the experimental light sport flying boat suffered catastrophic engine failure at only 600 feet above the ground. With dense trees all around, and only 40 seconds away from death, Mr. Yen immediately located the only potential field in gliding distance where he and his student were committing to landing. Just 40 seconds after the engine quit producing power, Mr Yen and his student were safely on the ground with no injuries to persons or property. When asked about the landing Mr. Yen stated “I spend a lot of time training my students for engine failures, and more importantly training them to always have a field in mind in case you lose an engine. As the landing goes it wasn’t my smoothest landing, but given the conditions it's good enough for me”. FAA inspectors later confirmed the loss of fuel pressure was due to a cracked fuel rail and the incident was not due to pilot error. Mr Yen is an experienced seaplane pilot and flight instructor with Straight and Level Seaplanes and hails from Eustis Florida where he trains students. Folks have been asking me about the time I was let down by the Stinson 108. Well here is the forced landing when the engine quit on the way to a fly in. This happened a couple of years ago and the airplane was back in the air la month after this landing. There was no damage to the airplane or imjuries to the occupants and we ended up with about $12 worth the crop damage. Overall a good ending to what could have been a not good situation. The audio and video quaility is a little lower than our standard because this was only the second time I was running cameras in the plane. It was going to be the second "Flight Vlog" of the Great Michigan Bush Co. This was a setback to the who channel since my attention was turned to getting the plane back in the air. Anyway folks have wondered how the Stinson let me down and this is the story. "You can hear the engine sound quit in the video ~3:10. The prop will continue to "windmill" to the ground, air pressure providing the energy to turn the engine. Only if it tosses a rod or something else violent happens will the prop will stop in the air. In this video you can see as soon as I hit the ground and slow the propeller stops as the airspeed no longer allows the windmilling of the engine."
An example of the things you get taught when learning to fly.

Recreational Pilot Licence (RPL) and Private Pilot Licence (PPL) Flying Lesson 15 in the Diamond DA40. Sometimes when flying there are factors outside of your control that may force you to land your aircraft somewhere different to your intended destination. This can include trouble with the aircraft itself, or even a sudden change in weather. In this lesson, LTF Instructor Clem talks about FORCED LANDINGS. #learntoflymelbourne #learntofly #flightschool #circuitflying #da40 #flighttraining #forcedlanding Learn To Fly Melbourne Website 🖥️ 👉🏻 🤍 Online RPL & PPL Theory Courses AUD$595ea 👨🏫 👉🏻 🤍 Follow Us 👉🏻 Facebook: 🤍 👉🏻 Instagram: 🤍 ⚠ Please note that this video is intended for use in conjunction with professional flight training only. Dangerous airplane landings and great pilot skills compilation. Landings in very difficult conditions with cross winds, landing gear failures and storms.
Hi guys. As I near the end of my syllabus, it's important to go over the basic manoeuvres ready for my skills test. This demo was flown recently and I thought what a useful tool to help aid people. The instructor gives some gems of information and shows how simple the PFL can be made by acting quickly and decisively. If you'd like to learn more about flying or perhaps undertake your PPL, checkout 🤍 which is where I have undertaken my flight training. Disclamer: This video is edited and whilst all intentions are to show the whole flight, checklists and safety aspects may have been cut out from the footage. I am not a certified flight instructor.
🤍 Have you ever considered that your first emergency landing might also be a soft field landing? Have you ever practiced a power off approach from altitude down to the grass? If not it's a maneuver I challenge you to find a way to practice with your flight instructor.

Wind reported at Carlisle less than 5kts - windmills visible not turning and shutdown. Ground soft. When the engine seized it caused the reduction gearbox to disintegrate hence a windmillling prop and engine shut down with mags off and fuel cut. Lens 135 degree view AAIB report: 🤍 Watch video: 🤍 Yakovlev Yak-50, G-YAKK: Bothel, Cumbria - Engine out forced landing video Pilot: Andy Wilson Bremont Watch: ALT1-P/BK Aircraft: Yak-50 Location: Bothel, Cumbria Date of occurrence: 10 April 2010 Category: General Aviation - Fixed Wing Details: The aircraft was on a local flight from Carlisle Airport when the engine failed due to loss of oil pressure. The windscreen became partially obscured with an oil film but the pilot was able to make a forced landing in a field, during which the aircraft was substantially damaged. He vacated the aircraft unaided, but later attended hospital as his injuries became more apparent. On examining the engine, the pilot identified that the oil pressure adjustment valve was missing from the oil scavenge pump housing. It was found in the lower cowling with no evidence of the expected wire locking. He believed that the valve had worked loose and fallen out during the accident flight, causing the oil loss. The aircraft had recently undergone extensive maintenance at EGMJ which included an overhaul of the oil scavenge pump assembly. Initial flights following this work revealed a small oil leak in the area of the pump, which at the time, was thought to be have been remedied by an engineer tightening the small vertical bolts adjacent to the pressure adjustment valve. Made possible by the Canadian Owners and Pilots Association and the Donner Canada Foundation. Description: Our training prepares us how to handle in-flight emergencies, but little is taught about what to do after we’re on the ground. Since not every forced landing results in fatalities or even injuries, a little knowledge on what to do in a survival situation can go a long way. In this video from the AOPA Air Safety Institute, we discuss some items you should pack in your survival kit and what actions you can take to help reduce the time it takes to get found.

FlyWire does an Engine Out Forced Landing to the Proficiency Flying tool bag. this one all the way to landing! 🤍 FlyWire is about exploring flight and the freedom this incredible experience brings us on a personal level. Flying has always captured the imagination and excitement of living life to its fullest. Hi, I'm Scott Perdue. In a former life I flew the F-4 and F-15E, more recently I retired from a major airline. I've written for several aviation magazines over the years, was a consultant for RAND, the USAF, Navy, NASA as well as few others, wrote a military thriller- 'Pale Moon Rising' (still on Kindle). But mostly I like flying, or teaching flying. Some of the most fun I had was with Tom Gresham on a TV show called 'Wings to Adventure". We flew lots of different airplanes all over the country.
